I am a computer applications specialist and IT consultant with over 15 years of experience to offer. I bring experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Expression along with IT skills in administration, project management, and data analysis. One of my passions lies with my keen ability to analyze business processes and brainstorming ways to improve efficiency of the work flow. My work ethic reflects the motto “Work smarter, not harder.”
I am currently an entrepreneur for my internet hosting and consulting business I started in 2000. I write, program and host websites for clients as well as seek contract or temporary employment which utilizes my skills in information technology and administration. I have worked with local organizations including the Saint Vincent de Paul Society of Cincinnati and for an on-going business client Premier Tri-State Core Buyers, whom I program and host a website for. These projects give me ample opportunity to further my learning in the IT field. My top passion is for working in Microsoft Excel as a Data Analyst.
I have obtained an extensive skillset with Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge database software and Microsoft Excel when I worked for the Cincinnati Chapter of the American Red Cross. There I was entering donation data into the database and generating thank you letters using mail merge functionality in Microsoft Word. I also reconciled Raiser’s Edge records with the deposit entries from the accounting department. I was also employed as a data analyst at the Garretson Law Firm in Blue Ash, Ohio. There I was challenged with taking Microsoft Excel data and cleaning it to be in condition for the Access database backboned on Microsoft SQL Server. I also had to generate queries to provide the necessary data and reports needed by my colleagues and management. My more recent experience with HW Staffing Solutions provided me with hands-on experience with KRONOS Workforce Ready online time keeping system being utilized onsite at NorAm International Partners. My most recent experience with Hearing Services, LLC of Cincinnati provided me with a new skillset in the ADP payroll system. I was also given opportunity to improve many of the Microsoft Excel spreadsheets used in the Human Resources department and the opportunity to bring improvement to the Microsoft Access database used by the accounting department.
My past employers have described me as being very attentive to detail almost to a perfectionistic style. I have extensive communication skills acquired in all my work experience but in particular to the customer service position I held at Fifth Third Bank in a working call center.
My resume will further showcase the skills and experience I possess that will prove to be beneficial to any organization in the Cincinnati area and beyond.
